How to Enable JavaScript in your Web Browser

To enable JavaScript in your web browser, choose your browser:


Internet Explorer 6+

  1. Go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
  2. Click on the Security tab.
  3. Click the Custom Level button.
  4. Scroll down to the section titled "Scripting".
  5. Under Active Scripting, choose "Enable" and click OK.

Firefox 1.0

  1. Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
  2. Select Web Features from the left navigation.
  3. Put a check in the box next to Enable JavaScript and click OK.

Firefox 1.5+

  1. Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
  2. Select Content from the top navigation.
  3. Put a check in the box next to Enable JavaScript and click OK.

Safari

  1. Go to the Safari menu and select Preferences.
  2. Select Security from the top navigation.
  3. Under the Web content section, put a check in the box next to Enable JavaScript.
